- Ben KamaraI am available to contract as a (Senior) Product Manager or Product Owner. I have very strong experience with roadmaps, project and stakeholder management, bringing projects in-house, developing new teams and getting the best from existing ones.
I went to Durham University (Van Mildert College) and studied Software Engineering. Since then I have started my own company, worked representing football clubs/players/managers, and developed apps and websites for some of the UK and the World's top companies.
My dissertation at university was about website usability metrics for e-commerce. Looking back it was the beginning of my understanding of user experience (UX) and experience design which is all around us. Provius is about evolving, and improving that experience whether it is online or offline around us.
In 2017 I became a Dad which has changed so much about me, and opened up a new world for me. I became a whole new persona and my motivations changed. Companies need to understand when and how people go through these shifts and how that affects how they interact with their business.
I gained a best friend and also a new client when my little boy was born. I spend lots of my time trying to figure out ways to make his life better, easier and accessible. I want him to use technology without being over reliant on it. I want it to improve his capabilities, his education and his opportunities. And I love it.
Since starting Provius with Rob we have done work we are really proud of for our clients, and we have had opportunity to push forward with some of our own ideas for projects.
